Stroke Alpha goes to 0

Post by Jkoseattle »

I am trying to draw a freehand line in its own layer, but no matter what I do, it wants to be transparent. I couldn't use the eye dropper to select the stroke color, it just stayed transparent. Then I figured out I can double-click in the stroke color to bring up the color picker, at which time I noticed the Alpha was set to 0. I changed it to 255 and then I was able to change the stroke color. But then when I went to draw the stroke, it turned transparent again and the stroke color in the Style palette went to transparent again, and opening the color picker showed Alpha back to 0. Why is it doing this?

If nothing else, go to frame zero, make sure no shapes are selected, and hit Reset in the style window.

Yeah, that did the trick, I don't know what it was, but it's working again.
