Moho & Vegas Pro Audio Clash (FIXED)

Post by DK »

Hi.
This has been an issue for me for sometime now. Thought nows the time to bring it up while things are quiet on the forum.

Each time I open Vegas Pro while Moho is running, Moho's audio scrubbing stops working. Actually all Moho's audio functions stop. I have to close down Vegas pro and Moho then open Moho only to get it working again.
Thanks for any help on this.

Cheers

In case anyone's interested I found a simple fix for this.
1.Go to: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound

2. Then click on your speakers and press properties.

3. Go to the Advanced tab and uncheck the box that
allows applications to take exclusive control of the device.

Thanks for posting the tip. I'm not sure I've seen this problem specifically between Vegas and Moho but I know I've run into two programs fighting over audio control in the past. I think I always did just what you did, and closed one of the apps.

I'm sure I'll run into it again so will keep what you posted in mind.

Np ....I thought I had better post it in case someone else had this issue and it was'nt too hard to track down....like you I have been just putting up with it and closing down programs then reopening them but it's getting a bit annoying working on this TVC. It's one of those "large file" ones that makes closing anything down a real pain just in wait time for things to load. It's all working perfectly now :)
