3D OBJ Import Problem

Post by shift »

A friend of mine made a house for me in Softimage and sent me the .obj file. It imports in Moho 12.4 but it is missing pieces and broken apart. I don't understand why. It opens fine in Blender. I need to know if I need to modify settings in Moho or does he need to convert it with specific setting? Here are images that show how they look.

Perhaps you can try importing it in blender and then breaking all faces apart and exporting a new obj. The obj importer for moho can be a little weird like this.

Hmm, it doesn't look exactly like this is the problem, but try switching between clockwise and counter-clockwise faces in the Layer Settings dialog.
