How to add skin details?

Post by RyanSurrey »

That is ofcourse a confusing title. What i mean is: when my character squints, i need stretch marks on the sides of his eyes but after a specific time in SBD. But i cant really draw something when i am in SB Action timeline.

I draw the skin details at Frame 0 as a shape and then hide the shape by putting the shape order lower (behind the hand, for example). Then, when my hand is moving, I raise the shape to the top to show the detail.

"Squint" lines could also be added to the character at frame 0, but with the line width set to zero, so that the lines would be invisible, Then the line width could be animated at whatever point you require. Also you could set up a "squint" smart bone that would lower the eyelids and add the quint lines at the same time, controlled by a smart bone dial.
