cycling glitch at end of cycle

Post by cabbage0896 »

can someone explain why at the end of a walking or running cycle (say frames 0-48) it appears to look like a glitch on frame 48 when my character resets to frame 0 (the standing position he was drawn in on frame 0). when I run the cycle it jumps to frame 0 when it hits frame 48 and does not look smooth. what am I missing, is it a setting in the cycle dialog? I tried to loop back to frame 2, still the same result and I also tried to freeze pose at frame 1 with no effect. I also tried shifting the layer in the sequencer still with no result. It seems like I'm missing something simple and as a hobbyist making a fat Frankenstein run across screen looks pretty funny. I hope there is a solution, thanks in advance.

One thing to avoid in a cycle is repetion of a frame. So if frame 1 and frame 24 are identical, the cycle set in #24 should only get back to #2.

Unfortunately Moho/AS changed behaviour several times between versions 5 and 12, so you have to experiment which cycle length is the correct one.

Have you shifted any layers in the sequencer? This can move the layer's frame zero into the rendered animation timeline.
