Add points in a vacuum

Post by Jkoseattle »

Sometimes I will have a curve and realize that I need to add some points along it to facilitate bone movement, but often the mere addition of a point changes the curve and I need to spend time moving things back to how it was before I added that point. Is there a keystroke or something that allows me to add a point to an existing curve without changing the curve?

Yeah. Highlight the curve points you want to add other points between (terrible English, but you know what I mean), go to Scripts | Draw | Split Curve, and type in a number. Ta-da!
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
