Custom Fonts? (Solved!)

Post by Markster »

I have two fonts I want to import into Anime Studio, but I don't know how to import custom fonts. The fonts in Anime Studio are not the same as my system fonts. I am using Anime Studio Pro 9.5, how can I import my fonts?

Fonts are installed on system level. If you can use them on your computer in other programs, you should be able to use them in AS as well.

AS only supports certain font types/file formats, I've found no list right now, anybody?
AS 9.5 MacPro Quadcore 3GHz 16GB OS 10.6.8 Quicktime 7.6.6
AS 11 MacPro 12core 3GHz 32GB OS 10.11 Quicktime 10.7.3
Moho 13.5 iMac Quadcore 2,9GHz 16GB OS 10.15

Moho 14.1 Mac Mini Plus OS 13.5

Try with this Font manager

Works on PC, and you`ll be able to temporarily install individual fonts / from the tab "Not Installed Fonts". The thing is to do this before starting AS and they should be available later on ,till you quit the Manager. Still, there are some fonts which are not done properly and which might not work in other app`s as well. If later, provide some link to those so we could determine the cause.

In case you`re on Mac / Older topic on the same subject.

I figured it out! I had to convert my .otf fonts into a .ttf font, now it works perfectly in Anime Studio. :D
