Using a "Composite" image downloaded from the internet cutout & saved as a PNG file. Imported it to anime Studio 9.5 Pro, after opening bones the image vector cannot be drug into the bones vector. When applying the bones to the "Composite" layer I cannot get the bones bonding to apply. Is this a problem when trying to use a "Composite" layer instead of the image being is broken into parts ?

If I understand your description and question correctly, yes; bones can be used to manipulate an image file.

I am not clear as to whether you are using a single composite image or a series of cut-out images, but it will work with bones either way.

Just drag your image layer on top of your bones layer, drag out the bones with the Add Bones tool and it will take effect right away. Just use the Manipulate Bones tool to move the bones and this will distort your image.
