This here is a animation test I did. If you will notice, there is some water damage looking brown nasty spots on the walls. I put those there. You would have noticed that they fade in and out. I did not do that, there are no keyframes or animation for it, the only thing that does is the camera. At angles the vector fades...
It has the halo effect and soft edges on. when set to plain, it stays there regardless of its angle. I have tried to replicate the effects by using layer options and more layers with tweaked settings, however, any layer effect that is applied to the incurs the wrath of the fade. This scene is arranged in 3D space. all the images are vectors.
Please someone, how do I stop this from happening? any alternatives? something!? I'll take any suggestions!
-Ryan.

Ryan,
I'm starting to wonder if it has something to do SPECIFICALLY with the arrangement of objects to create the 3D illusion. Even still, I realize that's no solution. Hopefully the gurus here will help you. I'm going to get busy with the cute cat, now. Good luck!

Since the brown water is not animated, render them into a flat image and put it on the wall. Don't let the 3D compositor make the job. Compose first in a flat image and put that image in the 3D environment.
