Exporting with transparency issues Windows 7 ?

Post by daney7g »

Hi all i need some help if you can, im a new user of anime studio pro my version is 9.2. I've been following through the tutorial book with no problems until tutorial 6.7, this is the one that provides a smoke and fire particle animation to render out in order to demonstrate savings on render time by using pre rendered video. I have not been able to get it to match the quality of the video provided in the tutorial folder i have spent a good few hours trying out different combinations to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced an problem with exporting the alpha channel in windows 7 using the Quicklime codecs. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks Dane

it says "This tutorial requires that you export an
animation in MOV format, which includes alpha
channel information. If you are using a 64-bit version of
Windows, you will need to complete this tutorial using
the 32-bit version of Anime Studio Pro in order to export
to MOV format."

If you're on Windows, get the Lagarith codec. http://lags.leetcode.net/codec.html

Thanks for your answers, Jessica 951 i did use the 32 bit version because i was using the quicktime codecs as stated in the tutorial, which only work in the 32bit app. J. Baker thanks for pointing me the way of that codec ill take a proper look at it soon. The export issue was specific to the particle effect, i have tried the exporting general transparency using standard masking and it works fine.
