I tried to import an audio file as well (wav and mp3) and it did not work. Strangely it worked when I put it on my desktop. I guess location matters. Try various ones.

there must be a way... laptops are just as powerful as desktops these days so there would be no reason for it not to work... i'm gonna try re-installing the program and see how that goes

i find an interesting fact... i reuploadet the program and it installed 2 versions of it a (x86) version and a normal version (i have no idea why) aaaand in the 86 version the audio works fine... but in the normal version it does not... BUT if i create something in the normal version and then open it with 86 it still works fine... but if i create something in 86 version with audio and then open it with the normal one... it's broken... i don't know... this should not be happening but now it at least works

That's interesting. I updated it too and it tried ot install two versions for me too. I canceled the normal version so i just have x86 now. I hope i won't have any audio problems. To me it doesn't really matter because i find it better to add audio in a video editing software

I have got a different issue with audio in ASP 9.2
I use 16bit uncompressed WAV files on my projects, but when I export a movie, it is converted to 32 bit format (IEEE or something like that) and I can't normaliza it in Sony vegas Pro.
Why this happen? In ASP 9.1 it worked fine! :(

*EDIT*
I found right now that ASP 9.2 also adds a "click" at the start of the audio file.
Please fix it!

I would advise you to import sound in sony vegas instead of AS.

Why I have to do two times the same thing?
I paid ASP 9.2 and I expect it works properly!
