Light effects

Post by Acesonnall »

First of all, is this forum even still active?

I was wondering if it is possible to add lighting effects in anime studio (Any version). When I say lighting effects I don't mean shapes, I mean lighting that actually reflects onto objects. Is that possible?

Thanks.

EDIT: Here is a better question. Would I be able to import my animation to another software for finishing touches?

(No, we're not active. All that posting is done by bots which were welded in place some 4 yrs ago.)

AS is a 2D program with limited 3D support. No, there's no such thing as ray tracing here, which you would need for your kind of reflections.

You can always render an AS project, whole or in parts/layers, to import it into a compositing program.

Wasn't much of a problem anyway, found an alternative with AS. I was asking because I saw that some of the most recent topics were from 2006 and around that time so I thought that this forum was almost dead.
