Hi, all! It's been a while since Ive last posted, but I'm back to animating!
Here's my problem:
I have constructed a character out of separate vector layers and bound them to individual bones. I hide the areas of the shape that would overlap one another, so that when a ligament bends there is a black line and not just a fill. I am trying to make an elbow, but I need to make it so that when the lower arm bends, any part of the upper arm that is jutting out gets masked off. How would I achieve this?
Pictures for convenience

There are several ways to do this, here's one done by another forum member that's pretty easy to follow.

Thank a million i am going to use this technique in a next software i always have this idea to use a circle without line but it is perfect the way you do it with line. AS is a good software to learn animation and to draw but i love a next software more to do work no offense SM
