cut-off bone dynamics?

Post by umedon »

Is it possible to cut-off bone dynamics on particular key-poses?
Because I do not want it to apply all the time.
Thanks.

Not yet - but Lost Marble is certainly considering it - see this thread.

If I create a switch layer, and switch between the dynamic bones layer and another one (a copy) without the dynamics applied, would it work? (for the moment).

Good idea! Yes, that should work. You may have to keyframe the non-dynamic layer to match the dynamic layer posiiton just before you switch, but that sounds like a good workaround.
