Keeping imported Illustrator beziers intact?

Post by turner »

Hi,

I've imported an Illustrator file which doesn't seem to be interpreted correctly by Moho - though I might not know what settings I need or how to prepare the file -

As you can see here, the top file is the original and the bottom, imported.

Obviously I need to get around that distortion - any help appreciated!

thx

That is my pet peeve with Moho. (And colors not translating correctly from Illustrator).

Here is another thread that discussed this a couple of weeks ago:

Try to select those poits which got the wrong curvature (the two corners at the left and some point inside) and select "peak" under drawing tools, should look better but you still will have some minor curve issues left, the bottom outer curve of the B for example. Don't think Moho can do any better than than since it lacks point control with bezier handles (nudge, nudge, Lost Marble...).

Hi guys -

Yeah, I tried adding points in Illustrator but that didn't work, so I did indeed try editing it in Moho and it worked out OK.

I only have a small object, but a big one... yikes!

thx
