Moving actions?

Post by rylleman »

Is there a way to move a whole action at once?

I have a fairly complex setup where I used actions to change a lot of switch layers at once which works fine exept that when I have to move a keyframe I still have to go into every switch layer and move that key separately, I though actions would spare me this work but it apparently doesn't...
Anyone got a solution for this?

Sorry, I missed this one. Are you applying the actions by copy or by reference? Doing it by reference should make the change in the action be reflected by all the instances of the action. If not, there might be a bit of a bug there

I missed it too. When you insert an action by reference, that can affect many different channels, and even many different layers if the action was created for a bone layer and you made keyframes for the vector layers inside that bone layer. Unfortunately, this can make it very difficult to move/delete all instances of the action together. There's no easy way to make sure that you're adjusting all references to the action.
