First, which type of layer you using?
Vector or Image?
If use image, select the bone then the layer you will bind and press the Bind Layer button on tools or use the same function on the Bone menu.
If use vector layer, select the bone then select the construction point on the layer. Did this, use the Flexi Bind Points on the Bone Menu.

If I don't made some mistake on the explanation the layer will be properly binded on the bone.
If I wrong... Ask Heyvern... He's MORE expert than me... :P
Sorry for my bad english... Q_Q

Make sure you drag the layer up the pallette towards the bone layer until the bone tab turns red, then they are linked and ready for binding.

I am having a similar issue.
I have drawn my character
Head, Neck, Torso, Arms, Legs
all on different layers.
Then I added the bone layer
I moved all the parts under the bone Layer.

I started adding my bones.
No matter how I add the bones. The bones in the Left arm
are affecting the points in the feet. [hey are no where close to each other]
I move that bone and the feet scurry across the screen.

I have reparent. I have tried binding the feet to the bone in their area.
I have tried binding the Arm bone to the points in its area.
Tried both Flexible and Regional binding.

It still happens.

I am not understanding what I did wrong.
Perhaps I am misunderstanding the binding process.

hi omenriver,
1st, i think u need to select ''Region Binding'', then after that, the most important point is you need to select ''Bone strengh'', at this part, you need to be careful and do it slowly, because i think it will influence other parts of yr character. I am not sure this solution can help you or not but i think maybe u may try n see .

thanks alot.
It helped. I think I have gotten it.
Now to learn to slow down my animations.

Still working on my 1st. I am thinking it will be able 30 seconds at most.
