Change Action keyframes

Post by Blighty »

Hi all,

I've recently been animating a robot character and to make it move suitably robotically I created all of the actions using linear interpolation on the keyframes.
After playing around with it, and having him interact with other characters, I've decided to make him move a little cartoony. Squash and stretch and all.

My question is, is there a global way I can change all the action keyframes to smooth interpolation rather than linear?
It's a simple rig, so I can go in and manually change each layer but I just wondered if there was a faster way.

I think there may have been a script for that called 'Splat Layer Keyframe Interpolation Settings'?...

You could find it here and try it out:

viewtopic.php?t=2448

hope that helps?...

Thanks for suggesting the script. I've tried it briefly but it doesn't seem to affect keyframes on the blue actions timeline.

Thats a shame... maybe you'd have to copy the action into the timeline, apply the script then copy it back...

In that time though you may as well just convert the frames in each action manually!
