add fonts to my font library

Post by prozacdreamer »

I'm trying to make a banner for my store. When I try to add a font (apple-t), I only get four selections to choose from. How can I add more selections to my font library?(If it matters, I"m using MacOSX).Peace

On OS X, Moho only looks for fonts in the /Library/Fonts directory. So, if you're installing fonts in your personal user font folder, it won't find them.

Next, Moho is now better about supporting fonts on OS X, but older versions of Moho had trouble with many Mac fonts. Are you using Moho 5?

Try using some TrueType fonts. You can get some free ones here:

Just download the Windows fonts. The Mac-specific fonts only work on a Mac, and are packaged up in a way that can confuse Moho (like I said, it's better about it now, but still). The Windows fonts are actually just plain vanilla fonts - they are not really Windows-specific and will work fine on Windows, Mac, or Linux.

Ah, so Moho 4.6 will have more problems recognizing Mac fonts. You can still install some "Windows" format TrueType fonts to get more fonts to use with Moho.
