"Sketchy" Stroke option question (Black only??)

Post by ThatsNotAllFolks »

I have only been able to get the sketchy stroke option to render in black color. No matter what color I am using in the palette, it always renders in Black. Is there a way to get the sketchy stroke render option to render other colors besides black.

Thankyou

This one is still a mystery for me. I just updated to version 10.1.1 and I had not really used the sketchy stroke project setting much before, so I can't remember how it worked before this 10.1.1 update. Again....this only happens after it is rendered.
any help appreciated

thanks again

Have you tried doing so on a new shape, from scratch? Do you have an example file you can share?

Yes I can create a file to share. Basically, if you choose sketchy for stroke under File > Project Settings and then render it via Command R, you get sketchy strokes in black no matter what color your artwork's strokes were.

Looks like this is a bug. In the mean time you can use the settings in the layers to get the effect you want.
Sorry for bad animation

The sketchy stroke option in the style palette is not working at all. it won't even show it as black. **This is in addition to the Project Settings sketchy problem.
