Please
I like to make a request if any of the GURUS can make an anchor point tool...something similar to what can be found in Adobe Illustrator??....I believe it would make life easier for all : one would be able to control in between two anchor points without having to match individual anchor points.....Maybe it could be integrated into the Transform Points Tool ....Please I would appreciate a feedback if this is possible or not

Re: Any Chance For an Anchor Point Tool SCRIPT????
I know this isn't exactly the same thing as having a separate anchor point but What I usually do is place a layer inside a group layer and re-position the origin for the group. This way I can animate from different transform origins for the same item. Using Timeline visibility, I can show key frames for both layers and animate them as one.
Sometimes I'll nest a layer within multiple groups so I can have many origin points to animate from.
Depending on your nesting order, you can even simulate how you animate an anchor point AE by animating the Layer transforms.
