requested script..color for layer button

hello
I wonder if a script writer can create a script that makes it easy to pick and find the layers very fast without having to read all these names of a million layers within complex scene
a color signs !!!!

I'm sorry, isn't that what the vector layer select tool does? Of course that's in AS8. Or do you mean something else?

I think he means colouring the actual title bar of a layer for easier visual picking...

I see, yeah, that's what he meant!
I admit this would be cool, maybe there is a way to script this but I havn't got into Lua yet!

yeb , .. that's right , actually my every single character has a hundreds of layers , most are
switchs of hands , shoes , eyes, hidden objects layers , tiny objects ...etc
well , ... V.S.selector can't get it
i always hoped to see all these layers lableled by an elegant tiny colored squares

As far as I know you can't change anything about the gui with scripts.
The vector selector function does work with switch layers and tiny objects though. It's one of my favourite new functions.
