Copy Layer translation keyframes onto a Bone's position

Hello,

I'm looking for a script that allows to copy the layer translation keyframes of a layer onto a bone of another layer.
For example: say I have a bones layer slected, I run the script and get a dialogue box that lets me select a bone by name and a layer by name. Upon submission the bone will then follow the translation of that layer, because the keyframes of that layer's translation are copied onto the bone's position.

Is this possible? Who can help me with this?
