HI....have a look at this short animation and tell me if you know how I can correct the problem of the distorted lines. Click on the link below and then click on MOHO TEST ONLY. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...JOHN HOY.http://www.putfile.com/hoyboys

The first thing I'd look at would be the thickness of the horizontal lines. If these are less than about 2 pixels, they are going to interfere with the output resolution, which is what you are seeing here. Try making your horizontal lines thicker, and test that first.

Thanks JAHNOCLI...right now I'm using the default setting for the Line Width as 1...I'll increase to 2 and see if that helps....also I noticed with the right tree there's a lot of disctortion happening for some reason....if anybody else has a suggestion then I'd appreciate it....Thanks for your help JAHNOCLI!

I see the problems and I agree with Jahnocli. There may well be more than one issue at work here. First, as J. says, the lines are very thin - you are using a very small output resolution and I guess the reason lines pop on and off is because the anti-aliasing can't cope with them.
As a general rule, horizontal cross hatched lines are never a good idea in animation anyway; if your animation is to be used on TV, this furious boiling effect would be even worse!
I would recommend that you use chunkier lines if you are producing such small images and consider switching off line scaling. If you do, then Moho will leave the lines as just one thickness and this won't change as the camera moves in or out of a shot. If you insist on having cross-hatched lines, maybe you should try giving them a tiny amount of blur.
Lastly, I suspect some of the problems, as with the tree on the right, may well be caused by the degree of compression you are using ("quality") in the Quicktime files.

Sorry to hear that Dick Hertz. I wish him better.

Excellent suggestions Jeff...I never thought of the compression issue...I will adjust that and see what happens...and also try it without the line scaling...And maybe in the future stay away from a lot of horizontal lines!...Thanks for your help!......JOHN HOY
