bug report for 5.1.1: line width auto changing

Post by Postality »

I started a moho project in the default setting (320x240) I completed my character and decided I wanted the scene to be 640x480 so I changed it.

320x240 to 640x480 made all my size 1 lines become size 2 lines and I had to manually change the size for all of them back to 1.

very frustrating and time consuming, and yes I had scale compensation off.

This isn't a bug, and it's not new behavior either. This was actually a requested feature from a long time ago.

Here's what's happening: anything in Moho that you specify with pixels (line width, layer blur, shadow offset, etc.) is actually stored as a percentage of the document's height. That way, if you resize the document, those properties preserve the same value relative to the overall document size. This is a good thing.

Once your character was drawn in 320 x 240 couldn´t you have saved it, then opened up a new Moho project at 640 x480 and imported the 320 x 240 version into it or would this cause the same situation?

Doesn't matter to much, just didn't know what the heck was going on when it happened, and thought I'd mention it.

Thanx for clearing it up for me.
