Yeah...but...so what? This is an animation forum, isn't it? I could post up all the Premiership soccer match statistics too, but that would be just as irrelevant! I know this section is "Miscellaneous Chit-Chat", but I always thought the "Miscellaneous" part had SOME sort of connection with animation...Or am I wrong?

Jahn i think u r right. Miscellaneous here would imply anything "related to animation" that is not covered in other forums.
However, threads here on the first page include topics on holidays, discounts, sex toys (lol), etc.

I think either people got the wrong idea or we do.

The forum title on the homepage doesnt hellp either.

" Miscellaneous Chit-Chat
Whatever..."

Maybe I'm wrong and if so I am sorry, I thought "whatever" meant anything goes (with in reason anyway)...that's why I made the post here. If I am wrong please let me know and delete this thread.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Whatever

That means anything you want but:
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws
That's not the case....

Ah! and that's football and not soccer!!

i think we can't censure a topic (or criticize this way). it's the miscellaneous zone. whoever can post whatever. if this is interesting for you, come and post, if not, just don't say anything. if you have nothing to say about nfl, as me, just close the tab. you can't comment everything you found in internet.
i have wrote a lot of topics that nobody answer. ok, maybe i'm the only one interested here about something, but if want to share it, i share it. is not too complex.

Sounds like a good subject for an animation. The perceived differences would be hilarious.

How American Football every came to be known as football is beyond me, the "football" being kicked isn't the major portion of the game, perhaps it became known as such due to lack of a better name, that and Americans are always the most creative bunch of people, we steal/borrow ideas (culturally speaking) and then change them to fit our needs. There aren't very many things that are truly created in America.
