The lack of an update only seems prolonged because of statements made promising an update! I have several applications that have not been updated in years that I use everyday. (I have built up workarounds that have been habituated)
Too bad, but business trumps the little guy every time!
That said, this application rocks as it is...........
Doesn't mean we all can't complain, send e-mails and such, It isn't like they are going to take away our toys if we do!

Sorry I'm late to the thread...
Two points about the update:

1. There actually was an update a while back. I saw some posts in this thread about the Linux version - it's been available since May:

viewtopic.php?t=8551

When the Linux version was released, all platforms got updated. No new features, but several bug fixes. Particularly some Mac fixes that I also saw mentioned in this thread. You can download the app here:

http://downloads.e-frontier.com/us/user ... duct_29698

2. The more interesting news about updates is that we have indeed been working on new features. I don't have a release date for you, but if you're going to be at Siggraph next week, I'll be there and can show you some of the new stuff I've been working on. These new features address long-standing customer requests, so I think they'll be welcome additions to the program.

Anybody going to Siggraph?

Is there a "New Feature(s)/Bug Fix List" any where?

And the update link you posted points to demos. Are the demos the same as the registered, except for needing a registration key?

Downloaded the "update" couldn't see a fix for the load texture bug or load image sequence bug.

I'd like to see a list of the bug fixes. Anybody had any joy with the update?

No joy for me. I am using the Macintosh version and the installer installs version 5.4 not 5.5. I just downloaded the link provided by Mike and it installs the same version 5.4 for the Mac not 5.5.

This is what I am seeing:

So what is the story?

I just recently (with in the last month) got the Mac version:

Version 5.5 build 20060929p

The image sequence import script doesn't recognize any image formats but the image import does. Maybe this is a problem with the script?

I have forgotten what else the update was suppose to fix.
