Youtube Cartoon Violence?

Post by Thingy »

Hello

Just looking at youtube and was wondering what counts as violence - where do they draw the line between non violent, mild violent and just plain violent?
What is realistic violence when it comes to cartoons?

The reason why I got pondering this, is that I've noticed my CPM has gone from hardly anything to practically nothing at all and looked into what might affect CPM and came across the guidelines. Everything's still in good standing so I'm hoping that CPM dropping is due to being Jan - Feb and will pickup later and not that somethings gone wonky with my cartoon characters getting shot by martian ray guns, eaten by those same martians, exploded in a teleport pod or just being splatted by a 100 tonne weight.

I had looked at DailyMotion for hosting a copy of the youtube channel but am still currently "unsure" about it

I think it'll depend on the style of animation and how your action/violence is carried out. Daffy Duck getting shot by Elmer Fudd is executed very differently than the tunnel sequence in Jin Roh. Both deal with a character getting blasted but are animated and handled very differently.
