Noob... just started.

Hello everybody...

I'm completely new to this (post #1)- my wife got me AS Debut 7 for my birthday when we saw it in a store and I said, "that looks like it'd be fun!"

I've had some experience with some 3D animation programs, "The Movies" and "Moviestorm". (Anyone here played with those?)

I've plugged through some of the first tutorials and can see some real fun is to be had with Anime Studio!

What I've seen of the forums here looks interesting... I hope to get to know more about the program with the tutorials, and the things going on with the forum- hope to be a contributing member.

Eventually, I'll get an avatar thingy up!

Howdy!

I'm totally blown away with a lot of the artistic talent I see using this software. Wow! (The tutorials even teach things that aren't part of the subject matter, which is nice.)

I'm a noob, so maybe I just haven't come across the right places yet... is anyone doing stories that last 10 to 15 minutes* (the Youtube max time)? Any continuing stories? I know it's going to take me a while to figure things out and to get myself organized to do anything I'd like to do. It's kind of a steep learning curve for me.

Thanks, everyone! :)

*I see lots of artistic vids or comedy skits lasting a minute or 2.

An older noob!

I suspect I'm not your usual noobie - 61, female, ventriloquist, just looking to make some cute videos for the 3 to 8 year old set. I promise to do all the tutorials, but I'm glad to know you are here.

hi vsmalkin i have managed to get part of the way through the quick start tuts but it sounds like me, your finding it hard to find the time. i think i shall have to arrange my time better to get stuck in to it i find if i can get the interest to start i become obsessive and have to know the ins and outs of something this program seems great and some of what the others has done
looks so professional (which is what a lot of the members are
