Bonescaling - copy to frame 0 - a bug?

This seems like it might be a bug, but certainly my process could be wrong. And it is easily reproduced. We can see it if we try to copy the scaling of a bone at say frame #7 back to frame 0: Create a bone at frame 0. Move to frame 7. scale the bone at frame #7. Copy the key at #7 back to frame 0, t...

Good idea. The red border could appear whenever you're in setup mode.

Another question: Can you enter setup mode multiple times, or just one per layer?

So there are no problems, I guess... If the render process will not be slower than usual, then maybe Windows 7 are well built and uses PC's resources better than older Os... Or the System meter are wrong! :P I think the original poster was essentially talking about multi CPU architectures being ver...

Re: Drawing like Flash brush tool?

Hey SJ, ASP is extensible due to scripting. Rudiger has done some amazing stuff with a bone morph rig, but he's also working on an enhancement to the drawing tool. I don't know Flash, and I've not yet worked with this one Rudiger is working on, but you ought to check out this thread. http://www.lost...

Re: ...Split Curve as a Button! :D (A Little One...)

Hey Ramón, Since I've finally got over my fear of installing scripts, I've put yours on. I'm surprised how many times it's used. Want more than 1 split, just keep clicking. Excellent example of a little thing that saves time and keeps the creative flow from getting bogged down in menu surfing. Thank...

Delayed Control Bone tracking

How could you set up a rig so that BONET tracks a control BONEC, the rotation of BONET does not begin until BONEC passes a certain threshold? I'm thinking that AS does not do this, but figured I'd check. Also, it appears control bones are an all or nothing choice. One you have a bone following a con...

Hey Slowtiger,
Please update this post as you've got more.

I'm liking the new colors and the character is perfect.

Re: Anime Studio 6 strings files

Someone asked me how to change menu shortcut keys. In version 5, you just edited the strings file, but in version 6 the strings file is not included with the program. You can now download and install the strings files yourselves. First select the strings file to match the version of the app that yo...

Re: Scale Points tool idea

I see what you mean, and have had the same issue. How about this as the user interface: When the scale tool is active, some modifier such as Alt or Right Click as you drag causes a rotation of the sizing box. (Perhaps a button on the top bar could Reset it.) Then the tool works as before, the only d...

Determine what is bound to a bone?

When you select a bone at frame 0, you can see any points bound to it highlighted.

But what about layers? Is there any other indication? One could manipulate the bound to see what moves, (if something is visible including in edit mode).

Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together. Though if I remember correctly the previous phone was red, so, I'd be interested to see how these two link together. Probably different calls. Putin and Commissioner Gordon make their calls on the red phone "hotline". Telemarketers, bil...

Fantastic. At first I didn't consciously notice the subtle detail of the dial having the 3D thickness look, but it certainly adds to the illusion in the mind even when the phone bouncing on the hooks dominates. It perfectly captures the "disturbance of peace" mood when a phone rings. I cou...

changing default animation

Under Edit,Preferences you can change the default keyframe interpolation. But it seems that you can't change it for existing keyframes, only for new keyframes. Is that right? Is there a way to modify the default so that unspecified existing keyframes would change the interp method? This is just to s...

How about a short feature about the former Circus bear, who when let free still paced back and forth in the same dimensions as his cage. So they shot him.
