Re: Blender (Simple Format) Viable as a Total Animation Plat
Is there a summary of Sensei somewhere? All that video showed was how to install Blender and then Sensei - nothing about why I should bother trying it out.

Re: My latest cartoon...9/11 Conspiracy Guy
Jahnocli's right. However, you can get away with a "stage" performance if there's a lot of good character animation, but with this minimal style you'd need to speed up the pacing a lot (notice how fast South Park is) or you start noticing the lack of full animation. And NEVER show just a t...

Re: I made a film in 48hrs! A Film About Migraines
And I learned that my headaches are not migraines, no matter how much I think they are at the time. OOoh this is not strictly true, as you can have 'migraines without aura,' so you would just skip straight to the mind bending pain bit! UGH! They are deadly, beastly things and I hate them I hate the...

Thanks Cynthia.
Just to get it straight, you don't need an iPad to do the course do you?

Re: TOONZ GOES OPEN SOURCE
Is there a demo of Toonz Premium? I couldn't find one on their website but I didn't stay there long, as Steven Hawking started talking to me as soon as I landed there.
It might be worth just buying the Premium version rather than wait for the open source version to catch up.

I haven't seen Laputa for ages, so I can't compare, but I think when the foot is coming down it should go flat on the floor and not stay on the heel for so long. Otherwise it's really nice.

Wow, if that's your first post, self-promote all you like!
That's amazing for 48 hours! It's pretty good for a week even. And I learned that my headaches are not migraines, no matter how much I think they are at the time.

Is it about watching animation or making it? Is it 2D or 3D or stop-motion?

Re: TOONZ GOES OPEN SOURCE
Did anyone go to Annecy? I heard they were showing a better version of Toonz that was just a few hundred Euros. Anyone see it? What was different between that and the open source version?

Static Code Analyser
This isn't exactly a feature request, but I've been following the Opentoonz story with interest, and there's a company that ran a piece of software that analysed the code and came up with lots of bugs automatically (it found 1211). http://www.viva64.com/en/b/0389/ I'm curious as to how Anime Studio ...

Re: TOONZ GOES OPEN SOURCE
This is just me, speaking. No artificial anything. In Herbert's defence, I too thought it was an artificial voice, and indeed the best artificial voice I'd ever heard. But there was nothing "off" about it, it was great, and I wish it was artificial so I could use it for my own videos (I h...

There's a wide range of quality in the videos on the website - which ones would you most like to emulate for the price you've given?
