Re: Slow fps during preview on Anime Studio Pro 9
Are you using any AVI uncompressed videos in the animation? Those will really slow a computer down.

Masking
This is kind of embarrassing of me to ask since I am a long time user of AS and long time member of the forum. When masking, is there a way to reverse the way the masking works as is? I mean, the shape you create will hide the above layers leaving the stuff out side the shape visible? In other words...

Re: Why doesn't my smart bones work?
Go to 4 seconds in the blue timeline not frame 1. Also, stay in the smart bone blue time line when you manipulate points not the drawing time line.

Re: Cutting a hole in a raster image?
You will have to use masking to do this or us a photo editor and erase the hole and save as png and import that to AS. The masking will be real easy for this. Create a group and put the image in it an a vector layer. Set the group to hide all. Set the vector layer to "add to mask but keep invis...

I live in Weatherford and would love to teach the classes but will be going on vacation during that time. There are a few others on this forum from the DFW area that might have the time.

Re: New commercial, first draft
I have read this topic a few times and have not said anything hoping someone else would. To me the back ground(not saying it is bad) just does not go with this character. I would rather see you make the back ground in AS. Or maybe add some color to the back ground in that program you used. Just my 2...

Re: Transparent Ouicktime movie not visible
The 64 bit version does not support QT. If you try and import a QT video, all you will see is a question mark. You will have to use the 32 bit version. Or use an avi video with transparent background which should work in the 64 bit version. I believe this is a QT problem and has nothing to do with AS.

Correct and have the arm/hand layers sets in front of and behind of the mic so you can switch to those when you need to be in front of and behind the mic.

Re: Changing the layers order
Put the layers into a group or bone layer then double click on that layer and select depth sort and click the box that says "enable animated layer order."
