And a range of switch layer interpolations can be switched through actions, so you can put such a sequence anywhere in your animation once you've created the action. In fact, this is the superior method to include frame-by-frame cycles in your Anime Studio project, because you can so easily edit act...

Aha, so, unlike humans, who push both with their lower and upper legs, the main thrust of the horse (and birds) comes from the upper legs. The lower legs and hoofs are just used for balance and support. I guess, because humans stem from tree dwellers, they have relatively strong lower legs and lower...

Re: swinehund
I gotta say Rasheed, this cycle is a lot harder than I was expecting. I told you so. It is a lot more complicated than a walk cycle of a biped (a human). If I remember correctly, James Baxter needed six months to get his horse animation right. This means that this type of animation is not so...

I suppose so, John. Before I go drawing horses, I guess I first should know how to draw a horse. I think I concentrate on that first. I have found some online tutorials and I have a nice and easy book about animal drawing by Kay Gallwey I have bought a long time ago (2003 or so). That should get me ...

Of course, the design of your characters (hero and aeroplane) is excellent. The drama is a bit off, imho. Especially with the soundtrack one would expect more drama, and more going on. After you realize what is going on, the pace should pick up somewhat (more things going on from that point in time)...

Wondering how to create moving masses in Anime Studio, I created this male cheast animation, using actions. Well, I created the points animation first, and converted that into actions for easy animation. http://i31.tinypic.com/2mhhjk3.gif The point is that the front and back of the horse is turning ...

I also think you shouldn't rely on animation to create animation. With that I mean you should go through the same development as the original animator. He or she has studied real birds, learned how to draw them and referenced some bird footage as a reference, together with some live observation. Bec...

I have some tips for you. Because catching the whole screen at 30 frames per second is very processor intensive, I suggest you lower both your screen resolution (e.g. 800 x 600, or as low as the application permits) and your frame rate (e.g. 10 fps). Furthermore, as you're going to use a video codec...

For the Mac, definitely, Snapz Pro X, although for quickies, iShowU, is a favorite, because it doesn't use after-take encoding, like Snapz Pro X. Many screencasters (video podcasters, using video screen captures as a medium, instead of live video) use Snapz Pro X, because of superior quality of the ...
