I don't know what could be causing that.

How do you know the lips move correctly if you can't hear it?

If it does move correctly, you could add the sound back in with your editing program.

Try doing one character at a time.

J. Baker wrote: The way I was testing it was to render at 60 fps. Then I was interlacing every other frame to 60 fields (30 fps).
So, it's as simple as changing the FPS setting? I will try it.
Thanks.

24 bit with transparency is the same as 32 bit RGBA is the same as RGB + Alpha , given that the alpha channel is 8 bit. Yes, but in that case it's a bit confusing to call it 24 bit. If it's actually RGBA, it should be referred to as 32 bit, if each channel is 8 bits. Here's more info I looked up: h...

Uhm, Photoshop is quite able to create PNGs with alpha. Just have your artwork on a transparent BG, then either save it as PNG, or export it as "for web" which gives you some more options. Maybe it's gotten better in more recent versions, but version 7 lacked this ability. I had this prob...

Motion blur is done the same way in all applications, 2D as well as 3D Well, this is one way it's done, but not the only way, and not a very effective or realistic way either IMHO. Again, this comes down to aesthetic choice. Software shouldn't make aesthetic choices for you because of technical res...

Most of the time I have found that "oops, that needs to be on it's own layer to be able to move right" I then cut and paste into another layer.

The default character that opens when you start AS is a good example to look at. It's mostly drawn on one layer, but it seems to work okay.

I wrote an app a while back that interlaced png images that were exported from Anime Studio. I'll have to dig it up and recompile it. I'll post it in a day or two. ;) Could you explain how I would set up my animation to render twice as many frames for this sort of thing? I know I could import into ...

*sigh* Again. You don't do field rendering for drawn animation. Period. That should be a choice, not a restriction. Most other apps allow for field rendering, but you can choose not to use it. I think it would help a great deal and I would like to have the option. Strobbing on fast moving objects i...

Interestingly I did some very similar animations for a friend's video project for some monks. I didn't have Anime Studio then though. I used Photoshop and After Effects to animate some illuminations. Anime Studio has taken some getting used to. The fact that it doesn't allow image formats that use a...

I'm not upgrading from version 5 until they include proper editable velocity curves so i can get better looking ease in and ease out motion. The current ease in, ease out, smooth etc controls are pathetic. The ease ones especially don't even work like they're meant to. For example, try to animate a...

Yeah, it's very good. I like your work. It's very funny and clever.

Could you explain how you did some of the things? How did you do that rolling hill as one of the characters is running toward the camera?

The Rachel example by Cartoon Solutions that comes with ASP is well rigged and the character design is appealing. But I have to concur with dueyftw, the excess points really hurt performance. Yeah, they look nice, but excessive points not only hurt performance, but make it very difficult to re-purp...

It's supposed to work on the stroke as well, but a bug causes it to ignore the stroke on switch layers. If it's not in a nested layer, it works right.

Well, as a work around, I copied the eye shapes layer and put a duplicate on top, without a white fill.

It means having to change two switch layers, but it worked.
