I wouldn't mind the next version having a built in crash button, in case i miss how un-stable it can be (i'm speaking in a sense that the next version will be bullet proof).

I love the way i can copy and paste something straight out of photoshop and into flash. Also drag and drop aswell. But i find i can't do this in AS. And it would be crazy good if you could copy and paste a character from AS, into Flash, and back again... and then back again. It might speed up some p...

Slow-tiger. Awesome advice up there, i've only just figured out the whole symbols thing myself recently. Though one thing: AS sometimes exports "groups" as appose to symbols... i mean what the hell do you do then? See, i've had to do it the long way by importing, breaking apart each group ...

Just use Flash. Surely you could dub in the same results in Flash after using AS to animate with.

Only problem then is that if you zoom in, it'll pixallatte, and if you make it big enough to handle zooms, the Flash export will hate it. Guess it depends on what you're doing.

I like to think i'm using it professionally. But really, i'm going through a stage of experimenting and grasping grips etc. I've had a few clients in the past, who loved the end result.

The flash export is weird. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Are you exporting to the full length of the soundtrack? Also try exporting to .mov format and see if you have sound problems then. If you can't solve the problem, just convert the avi's to mov format instead.

First of all there's a PSD exporter script. I don't know where to find it because the e-frontier website is hard to navigate to find stuff. But there's a script, search the forums. The script will export layers to AS for you. You'd want to make sure you've covered all the aspects of stuff like blink...
