Re: hello, newbie here. so in freehand mode, how can i just

draw without creating points? for instance i'm just creating one static image that i'll want to zoom in just slightly or vise versa. all i really want to fool around with at the moment would be the scaling as atm i'm just getting used to the pen. is there a way to just draw without points, and then...

4) implementation of 'ctrl+C/V' copy paste of whatever you select (?? - i have to use the copy/paste buttons on the timeline to duplicate keyframes!) There is a keyboard shortcut for this: If the frames are highlighted you can copy and paste with option+C and option+V on a Mac, and... (I'm guessing...

If you don't mind I'll use this technique too, it sure will help me get lost of some of the "messiness" in the rigs I'm trying to build here, where I suddenly don't remember which bone was doing what anymore... Hi Cap, Please, feel free to use (or improve) the rig, it was your lion's head...

very simple headturn and tilt

hey dueyftw, here's a very basic 3/4 to3/4 headturn rig (more like a 'face-turn') I designed this rig because mikdog asked for a rig for his characters and I think this would work well and could easily be adapted to all of the characters in his short film. There are 2 scaling control bones and the f...

Looks fantastic genete, I'm gonna have to go thru your tutorials so I can understand it. Looking forward to seeing it applied to a model.

the changes of the color in the arm looks great. Thanks Selgin, the trouble is that the technique is focussed more on the end result rather than building a bulletproof model that can be used over and over again, because what I had to do was settle on the movement I liked and then go back and keyfra...

I'll second that. It's a whole lot better than the missing manual.

Glad I could help. Good luck with your project.

scale bone technique

Hi jahnocli, I think your croc design looks great. I hope you don't mind but I've made a small animation with your croc to demonstrate a bone consraint technique I discovered by accident but couldn't figure out how to use it until your croc came along. The technique is as follows: - use the 'scale b...

Rather than walking the character on the spot and panning try actually stepping the character across the screen for one full cycle then translate the layer across screen in one big jump (using 'step' mode) and then repeat the cycle. Do this as many times as it takes to get the character through scre...

Re: Aligning objects to each other

I think it would be good if there was a way to align several selected objects. If you have say, three rectangles on a layer, and they are different sizes, you could align them all by centering, by left or right edge, or top and bottom edges. A lot of graphics programs have this feature and it can b...

Re: bitmaps and wire frames

I would like to be able to see my bitmaps current frame in outline'/wire frame. Onion skins work like this but when the current frame doesn't it makes aligning with a previous frame very hit or miss. thanks for listening. I'd also like to see onionskinning for bitmaps (and generally better onionski...

help with crashcore script

I was trying the crashcore script on OSX for saving and loading layer animation. I can save the animation OK but when it comes to reloading it into a new layer it is greyed out in the file dialogue. Should I be using a file extension when saving; I've tried .lua and .anme without success.
