Re: Ninja MOnsterR
Good for a first animation. The voice sounded very similar to Baby Animal from the Muppet Babies show. Thanks danimal! Yeah I am the original voice actor for baby animal....jk I have actually never seen that show  . I just used Anime Studio's built in voice recorder, recording a Golem/Smeagle...

Free Upgrade to Anime Studio 10 from version 9.5
I heard and read somewhere that if you have the physical or digital copy of Anime Studio 9.5 you can upgrade to AS 10 for free. Is this true? Or do you only get a discount if you are an owner of the previous version?

Re: What is the best way to rig this character?
Yeah... er... it's kind of tricky. Basically what I do is create the entire character all smoothly connected with all the shapes created on one layer. Have to do it that way to start. I do all rigging smart bones, point binding etc etc etc. Then, I duplicate that full body layer with all the shapes...

Re: First Animation: South Park
For Cartmans walk, you may want to slow the bouncing down, he moves really fast, and it looks like it's in fast forward motion. Aside from that, I'd say you nailed it right on the head. Thanks sargumphigaus I re did the whole animation and changed his walk style, let me know what you think! https:/...

Re: What is the best way to rig this character?
From my side of things I have to be careful with advice because I know that some things work really well but can also be difficult for beginners. haha that's alright it did take me a while to try and figure out what was going on, but I think I understand now. For example my "trick" of kee...

Re: What is the best way to rig this character?
Haha "grass hopper" thank you sensei... Can't wait to be able to rig like the pro's, besides the timing of the actual animations that is one of the things I find most difficult. Thank you for the response to my questions! You have been a huge help. I know with time I will figure out my own...

First Animation: South Park
This is the first animation I ever did in Anime Studio. I chose something that is really popular and is very easy to animate... South Park! A lot of people think it's an insult to animation (I personally don't care for the show myself). But this was me combining all things that I learned in anime st...

Re: Funny Looking Bald Guy
This is just a test animation that I created a character on the fly for. Nothing here is earth shattering or innovative, but maybe it will help those newer to the software(?). This test is more for the purpose of creating characters than for making animation in AS - I find myself enjoying designing...

Re: What is the best way to rig this character?
Thank you for that hammerjammer, definitely some wise advice. I have been looking up as many tutorials as I can find. Unfortunately when it comes to showing how to rig the character itself their aren't too many that I have seen. I understand for the most part that their are 3 different ways to rig a...

Here's the scene. OK nevermind the picture, I cant figure out how to post an image with this post. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ic1ouadmtgx7job/Chicken%20PHOTO.jpg Thought I might be able to help you out with this part. If you want to take a screen shot, I go to the file-preview-save as-png in the AS ...
