I don't have a lot of experiences with Blender (although I'm keen on learning it). Do you have a camera file for Blender I could have a look at to see how it's put together? Not really, blender files are binary so you can't view them. How I imagine it to work would be AS exporting a Python script. ...

A script would be great, I was hoping to find a Blender script to import the keyframe data from PonySmasher's export camera to AE script but no luck. I even tried keying in the data from it manually but got confused with pixels, blender units. I also thought about rendering a wide scene, although th...

ASP camera movement in Blender

I've been trying to combine Anime Studio animations with Blender backgrounds for a while to get nice perspective backgrounds and I finally worked out how to do it. http://www.vimeo.com/25306543 I can still only pan the camera, no zoom :o( and I haven't worked out if it's possible to have shadows for...

I use AS as a hobby. It's an amazing tool and I would never had gotten started in animation without it. Previous versions were easy upgrade decisions, the camera tracking, physics and multicore rendering were all cool features I knew I would use and there was no workaround. AS8, although I think the...

Thanks for the replies. The book really is brilliant, I've had it for years but never really studied it properly, but now I realise why all the pro. animators recommend it! Yeah the first one was suppose to be sneaky, I might try that one again. I had interpolations set to smooth on it which I think...

Thanks for the reply Genete. Because I was on a tight deadline I ended up having to create a new rig and start again. Although I was able to use some of the animation from the broken rig. After reading your reply I went back to the file and tried naming the bones, and trying different bone strengths...

Bones disappear when I rotate them.

I hope someone can help with this, it's very weird! I have a bone layer and then I have several images and switch layers bound to those bones, all using bind layer. I've done this hundreds of times. I'm about half way through animating a scene and when I opened the file this morning I found that whe...

Very good! :) Batman one made me laugh mostest.

Looked great too, it needed some background F\X though to add some atmosphere and bring it alive.

Thanks for the comments.

@kkrawal thanks and sorry but I don't think I know any secrets! If there's anything specific you want to know I'll try and answer but I'm still learning myself.

Yeah thanks for the heads up too. Noise removal is currently excellent so I'm surprised they've been able to make it better!

I've been trying to think of imaginative ways to use the fluid sim. too.
