I like the fills of the first drawing and the different line width of the last drawing but it's all very good! Sang is the king! It is all Moho yes? I think it is possible. Oh my God I type Sang style now! :D

"this is animation, its meant to be difficult and time consuming" It sounds (reads?) strange but it is true. Although it's understandable to want the program to assist in collision detection etc. it can make the artists' input smaller. It takes much more time drawing someone throwing a ba...

"I for one still have trouble 360 rotating a character" I think we all do, then again this is a 2(1/2)D program after all...I'd suppose Disney and Don Bluth animators had the exact same problem, and they really had to draw every single frame (I still remember a cool rotation shot in "...

Science is for all ages...If he went a step back and just removed the clothing, then you might have a point though. Strange, the more you take off a person the less shocking it becomes in the public eye. Janet should 've ripped her entire breast off and called it biology class, she'd be an academic ...

Also consider your target demographic. Heavy Moho users, casual users or potential users. For one audience you can throw advanced terms around, for others you have to explain what it means. You could try a compromise by adding "what's that?" info boxes on the pages explaining some terminol...

It think that would be too specific. Even animation is often just a small part in computer art magazines, there are a couple of those in some bookstores. But magazines cost a lot of money to make and distribute, add to that the fact that internet has become a virtually infinite source of information...

Rasheed, I'll silently agree with you and let you get all the "boos". Not only is simplified drawing often better for fast moving scenes, it's also more cost effective obviously. The bone structure and other advanced tools make it easier to create more complex artwork but the question is &...

Looks good, very atmospheric, the smoke looks good but one problem there, when the cigarette moves the smoke plume moves along. It seems to be attached but once smoke leaves the cigarette it should just float away since it's no longer connected to the source, you might want to fix that. It caught my...

I can't say if it works for 3D but unless I'm mistaken you also refer to 2D layers right? In that case transparent .png files work. You need a .png image with an alpha channel. Here's an example: http://www.nobudgetvideo.com/moho/transparent_example.jpg A .png layer rendered over a Moho background w...

I've whipped together a little tutorial how it's all done. Don't expect to be "wowed" but rather expect to think "is that all?". But that was the point, so enjoy!

In Windows "F2" would be the logical choice, most programs use that shortcut.

7Feet, what you describe is "progressive". With interlaced the frame is split into even and odd fields that alternate to give the smooth "video" look. To make it even more confusing film is also labelled "progressive", in this case all frames are seperate images (25 for...
