Deja Vu all over again?

Follow path is an awesome feature, thanks Lost Marble, totally wicked. This is one of the most important features toward making this a fully featured app. Thanks again. wasn't follow path available back in version 5 with the free scripts. I don't recall if it was from Rhylander or one of the other e...

I don't see problem. I bought the upgrade for $130. The new price is $200. That seems like a fair discount to me. Seriously, who pays list price? The upgrade discount from 6 to 7 is not much of a discount, for the pro version. The other poster was right that skipping a version is the better deal. I...

script tool to enhance onionskin's technique

I was just thinking this could be "scripted" to some degree. For example, you would select the points, run the script, and it would draw and center the circles at those points. You could do this in "one shot" for the whole character by selecting all the "gap points" an...

Many applications optimized for multiprocessors can suffer on machines with only one processor. I'm pretty sure that the poster was referring to the same machine, and that for him AS7 rendered slightly slower than AS6. While it could certainly be true that a later version of any given application m...

multi-core is here

6.2 uses only one core while 7.0 renders a diffrent frame on each core.

Only slightly faster on one frame files.

7.0 render seems very stable, rendered several files with it.

is AS7 multi CPU?

Hi Vern,
If anyone would know you would... Is AS7 finally thread safe so that my multi core CPU can use all its horsepower to render?

Re: Filling in the gaps in joints

I just thought of a solution to a problem I've been having for a long time and thought I would share. Nice work around. But wouldn't it be nice if AS Pro had the option a style for line end points? They could be flat & rounded, or sizeable circles, squares, fades, brush terminated, arrowheads, ...

select all sublayers?

Is there a quick way to select all sublayers of a particular layer? I know I can hold shift and keep clicking each one individually, but this can be tedious with a lot of layers. I'd prefer some sort of shift click method which works like the windows standard method of selecting all items in between...

Awesome.

Can I also ask, how did you create the .gif from AS?

Re: Time flys when your.... animating....

I couldn't believe how much time it takes. My first roadblock was understanding how in principal/theory, then "how" in terms of what you click, which command, and in what order. But the "reward" in learning how to do it, is that it takes soo much time. Then remember that AS is dr...

Must you execute the menu command for each action?

Is there a way to do them all at once?

"Rescale Keyframes" If you have 6.x version of AS. You have a bug to contend with. A workaround for 6.x is to make sure that the Start Frame # is bigger than the New end frame #. 1- Go to Preferences and turn on Consolidate time line channels. 2- Move all the animation points ahead beyond...

Convert 16 fps animation to 24 fps

What steps do I follow to convert an .anme file that is at 16fps to 24fps. I know how to set the fps in Project Settings, but I don't want the speed of the motion to change. It hasn't worked on a simple test file, which has one step motion on each of four seconds. I tried scale animation changing th...

Not a bug. Same behavior in 5.6 IIRC. -G Hi Genete, Let's say I wanted to use your awesome arm rig for a character, but want to use it for a leg. How would you recommend resizing it? In some cases, resizing the entire rig, in other cases resizing just one bone. Thanks for your arm rig contribution,...
