Anime Studio's inability to animate a bouncing ball properly

Ever since the Moho days, I have been unable to properly animate a bouncing ball. Even with Ease in/out turned on, it still always smooths around the keyframes creating unrealistic movement. Here is an animation test so you can see what I mean: http://www.lukeheise.com/temp/bounceball.mp4 The right ...

Motion graph mode does not work well at all from my experience. There's always still unwanted smoothing around the keyframes. Anyway, a real shame. All the other features are exciting, but I just wish they fixed ease in/out and added editable velocity curves.

Dang! That has been my biggest request since even Moho days. Their current ease in/out is terrible. Everything has a smoothness to it which is very unrealistic, especially if you are animating something with impact like a bouncing ball or a punch.

Has easing in/out improved. Are there editable velocity curves? And, can I upgrade from version 5?

So how's the easing in/out in ASP7? Has it improved? Are there adjustable velocity curves yet?

Velocity curves? Proper easing in/out?

Ok, so this will determine whether or not I buy the upgrade... Are there adjustable velocity curves between keyframes (like most other animation software includes)? Has easing in/out been fixed? Can the bouncing ball animation test now be done realistically with few keyframes? http://www.lukeheise.c...
Well, I do bouncing ball type actions all the time in AS. By hand. No need for some curve editor as long as you did your homework and know what you're doing .
I know how to do it by hand as well. I know all the tricks of using extra keyframes to achieve similar r...

I'm not upgrading from version 5 until they include proper editable velocity curves so i can get better looking ease in and ease out motion. The current ease in, ease out, smooth etc controls are pathetic. The ease ones especially don't even work like they're meant to. For example, try to animate a ...

Editable velocity curves in Anime Studio 6?

Haven't checked in for a while, but I noticed the new version of Anime Studio is out. One of the biggest requests for me and others was editable velocity curves like in After Effects and Flash. Or more accurate Ease in/Ease Out control. Just wondering if this request made it to Anime Studio 6? An ex...

Arm Bending with skin crease at joint and no skinny elbows

Anyone know how to properly create and rig a character so that his arms and legs are able to bend all the way with nice creases at the joints and consistent shape width. For example, when I do it the elbows and knees become incredibly skinny when bent all the way. Also, when the shapes intersects wi...

Wiggly Lines in Anime Studio

I'm sure I've seen this effect before in Moho/Anime Studio. Is there a quick way of making lines wiggle in Anime Studio? Almost like a hand drawn effect where each frame is a little bit different from the one before it. For example, I don't know if any of ya'll have seen those Red Bull ads: http://w...

Velocity Curves

The layer reordering looks cool. But I'm sticking with Moho until they have better ease in/out controls on the timeline. Velocity curves would be nice (like after effects, flash and alot of other animation software). Animating a bouncing ball should be simple, but in Moho it is far from. The ball sl...

Top Ten!

1. Better Ease In, Ease Out Control. Some editable velocity curves would be nice. 2. Better drawing tools, which are simpler, more user friendly. Eg. Flash or Illustrator. 3. Proper Motion Blur, not just ghost trails. 4. Sound Layering. 5. Better Image/movie import which doesn't smooth edges too muc...
