Timeline improvements
Have any improvements been made to the timeline (in particular, keyframe interpolation)? eg. editable velocity curves and correct, realistic easing in/out. Please reference the following thread for more details about this long-time issue: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16648&hig...

I bought Anime Studio 5 and it was money well spent. I don't plan on walking away from this software, but I will not be spending any more money on it until they address the ease in and ease out problems, better yet, give us editable velocity curves. I agree, with barryem that there has not yet been ...

Perhaps I could have worded the title of this post differently and I apologise for that. I was just trying to use the simplest example of a bouncing ball to emphasise my point. Lack of functional ease in/out or editable velocity curves affects so many kinds of movement, not just a bouncing ball. Tru...

If you look at frame 20 and 21 of your animation you will notice that the ball is slowing down before it hits the ground. It may help if you switch on onion skinning. This is completely wrong. It should only accelerate prior to hitting the ground. There should be no slowing down of any kind before t...

Well, they have just released a trial for anime studio pro 7. I'll give that a go and see if it can do the job any better. I'll also need ASP7 to open your file to have a look. Your movie looked better than the bouncing ball i did in ASP5 but it did still look like it slowed down a bit before it hit...

Anime Studio is great, don't get me wrong. The new version looks very impressive with the addition of physics. But the complaint I have is a very reasonable one. I just want the software to be as good as it can possibly be. There have been numerous threads in the feature request forum regarding this...

I have wanted this feature since the days of Moho. With version 7 now out, it is still missing. Please add this feature! Without editable velocity curves and improved ease in/out, animation does not look natural. Have a look at this example of a bouncing ball I animated in Anime Studio Pro and Flash...

I just think it is a feature that should be included considering it is professional software. Name one other professional animation software which doesn't include proper ease in/out or velocity curves. Anyway, we both agree that improved ease in/out would make Anime Studio Pro a better piece of soft...

AmigaMan - The only way to animate a bouncing ball correctly in Anime Studio Pro is by inserting a bunch of extra keyframes. It shouldn't be this way considering it is 'professional' software. Simple movements, should require only few keyframes and a non-cluttered timeline. I am quite happy to use g...

That is exactly the problem. With Anime Studio Pro, you need to create all these extra keyframes which is far from ideal, but unfortunately the only workaround. The result is a messy timeline which is difficult to edit and navigate. Key frames should only be required for 'KEY' frames, not for everyt...
