Awesome!

Might I suggest a default for the release version, since I can see a lot of non tech users having to use this panel :)

Be nice if they were on tabs too, so they could share a panel and be switched easily, like the Graph editor and Timeline do now. I've been working on a laptop recently, and screen real estate is at a premium.

I agree, something like this was a big wish of mine. I just wanna have it non-modal, so the panel can be kept open all the time, and when you switch layers it refreshes with that layer's action list. That would make it perfect.

I agree, it's handy to not see every single unanimated channel now. It's how I work in Lightwave anyhow. Maybe a toggle for those that want one?

How about you try that with the actions window :)

And you can't exactly dock them anywhere. They go to their preassigned places and that's it...

LOVE the new morph mixer thing, but is there any way it can be made non-modal, or assigned a hotkey pls? Having to open it every time I move through the timeline is a pain in the butt :) There is a form to add shortcuts to menus on 5.6. I don´t remember well where it is, but I remember is a file yo...

ASP6 docking windows?

Hiya,

I haven't managed to dock and undock a window yet? Tried dragging and all sorts of double clicking and key shortcuts, anyone done it yet?

Thanks,
Mike

Okay, you have your layers like this

Group
>>>Vec1
>>>Vec2

Go to a new frame, and change it to

Group
>>>Vec2
>>>Vec1

By dragging the vec1 layer below the vec2 layer.
There will be a key in the Group layer's channels for the layer change.

My biggest annoyance currently in AS is that you can't multiply select layers and edit their properties as one. The largest amount of wasted time on my last project was changing the vector settings in layers over and over to what I wanted. To just be able to multiselect layers, open the properties p...

To animate layer order, you must have the layers in a group layer of some sort, like a switch or bone layer. You can then animate them, and the keys for this will show up in the group layer's keys.

You mean no one else noticed this years ago? I thought everyone would have spotted this having watched Jungle book and Robin hood... This was back in the 70's when the Disney budgets were slashed, leading to cheats like this on the animation. I don't like them any less because of a little rotoscopin...

Very cool. And I can remember the doctor using Venusian akido, as it was called, quite a few times.

If your switch layer is the child of a boned layer, you can use Vern's copy paste bones script with this script:
http://www.mikegreen.name/Lscripts.html ... ent_Master
And the switch's bones will then follow the parent's bones, over the course of the animation.
