Actually that's the first and only one I HAVEN'T liked. But I'm sure there's room in Happy Land for all of us!

Good stuff! I agree with lwaxana about the belt line. There is also -- dare I mention it? -- something odd about the crotch.

But it looks like all the hard work is done! Someday maybe I'll have the courage to try the dreaded walk cycle myself.

Just because an object is in a folder shouldn't mean I can't set bone binding for it. You can bind a FOLDER to a bone using layer binding...but (it appears) you can't bind bones directly to individual bones that are in different layers. Bones only bind to each other within a layer. This means you c...

Lbrgoof, "Distance" is the amount of space between two points (the left side and the right side of your screen, for instance). "Duration" is the amount of space between two keyframes on your timeline (the keyframe at the beginning of your timeline and the keyframe at the end, for...

Also, if you want the shoulders to bounce a bit more, you can use bone dynamics instead of the angle control bone: 1. Follow steps 1-4 above. 2. Turn on bone dynamics for each bone. 3. Try the values 1, 0.50, 2. When you play the animation, the bones move with the parent bone (the chest), but their ...

Try double-clicking a layer and checking "Allow Animated Layer Effects" in the General tab. With this checked, keyframes are added to your timeline whenever you change a layer setting (opacity, blur, shadow, etc.) With this enabled for the group layer, all the layers inside the group will ...

Here's what I did: 1. I added a small bone to each shoulder. Each one starts where the actual shoulder would be and sticks out and downward slightly at about a 30-degree angle. 2. I made the "chest bone" (#3) the parent of the shoulder bones. 3. I lowered the strength of the shoulder bones...

That did it! You somehow fixed the "Linda Blair Backward Head" in the last two, and I think the curved collar is a good addition. I didn't see any problems with the other necks, and I see the slight rigidity as part of the style...I felt the same about your walk cycle from a while back. If...

The first thing you'll want to do is edit your bone layer to switch from "flexible binding" to "region binding." (double-click on the bone layer, switch to the Bone tab, and use the radio buttons) This gives bone regions more control and has less influence on areas outside the re...

SpaceBoy: I'm in a hurry and I'm not a bone expert, but you'll notice that even if you remove all the bones in the lower branch (the sub-bone layers), both branches still rock when you shake the bones in the trunk (the main bone layer). So the lower branch isn't rocking because its sublayer bones ar...

I really like these designs! Mikdog defined what I found weird about the two on the left, though maybe it's a combination of the neckline and the necks themselves being too far forward. But nice, simple design! I like the pants better than the shorts...it somehow adds to the clean simplicity. I agre...

You're welcome, Alexy! "Spatial positioning" is the setting I was thinking of, it should stop your audio from moving.

As for moving a v.6 project to v.5, however, I don't know...I started with version 6.1. Maybe somebody has made a script?

Good luck!
Muffy.

No problem...hopefully dragging the audio helps! The Richard Williams book that so many people recommend ("The Animator's Survival Guide") mentions several situations when visuals should precede or follow audio...it's fascinating! I don't have it with me, but he talks about animation direc...

How much is the lag? A few frames, or more than a few frames (eg. seconds?) Keep in mind that workspace preview isn't entirely accurate and a lot of factors and change its timing (preview settings, image complexity). To get a more accurate preview of the timing of your animation in the workspace, tr...

* The sound is changing because of a setting in your audio layer. I don't have Anime Studio in front of me, but double-click on your audio layer to look at the layer tabs. Switch to the tab for audio and you'll find a setting that causes audio to follow the camera. Uncheck that setting. * Before you...
