More than 8 bit (256) gets real expensive real fast. I am working on a movie where Warner Bros is requiring 10 bits per channel images for the compositing and the files are HUGE, even at the same pixel size as the 8 bit counterpart. Because everything works in multiples, the next step up from 256 is...

I could manu uses for this, especially if it's fairly accurate. Imagine doing something that needed timing music! Many many possibilities.

That's a good idea Bones3D. I would probably be good to use the same clip which you mention. That technique can go a long way.

Ok, I finally figured out the problem with my web page. It was a "design flaw" (another way of saying it was my fault). It has been fixed and I tested it in IE 6 on my drawing tablet with success. IE 7 Firefox and Safari were never affected. Draw_Girl, Jahnocli or anyone using IE 6, could ...

Genete - I do use bones in this animation. The overall body animation in 2D, and the position of the arms is done with bones. I am not using any scripts that I am aware of. Draw_Girl - Are you still having problems with the page? I thought I just fixed it, at least what I thought was the problem. R...

Hey, thaks for telling me this Jahnocli. I've heard this from someone else and haven't been able to pinpoint the issue myself because it doesn't happen to me. (I use Firefox on the PC and I am usually on the Mac) I heard it could be a version issue with IE 6. I may be using some latest greatest type...

As I mentioned, I have been doing more with my "method" and decided to put up this new scene. http://www.studioartfx.com/asforum/anime001.jpg I basically started with recording a sound file in Garage band and went from there through the steps to finish in AS. The video shows a couple of bi...

DUDE! I didn't realize you were THAT Shawn the Touched. I think we talked a few times in the past. I remember seeing your original stuff a Loooong time ago. You were one of the first indie anime guys on the scene.

This week I have some new ideas for AS and will really push the point animation versus switch layer testing. I think I may have found my "method" but some new stuff will show for sure.
