Those designs look a lot like something from Ren & Stimpy.

Did a search to see how easy it is to find Anime Studio...

I did a search for "2D animation software" on Google and Anime Studio didn't show in the results until the 3rd page. Moho (not Anime Studio) showed up on the 2nd page of MSN.com but I couldn't find anything for Anime Studio. "Lost Marble" came up at the BOTTOM of page 2 on Webcra...

Great idea with the camera moves being seperate. I'd love to see a tutorial explaining and showing the technique in more depth. Maybe even an AS file that we can download and deconstruct ourselves while we do the tutorial.

I'm going to take a guess that he used frame by frame animation for the walking straight towards/away sections and not bones. Some things you just can't achieve with bones...or its just easier w/o them in some cases. There were some very nice 3D looking parts to the walking animation though, good job.

Character looks good and the movement is getting there, but he needs to be crouched more (bent at the waist more) for the boxing movements you are doing. I'd say he needs to be quicker too...moving that slow he'll get knocked out quickly in the ring.

Actually I use Toon Boom now. I draw with paper and pencil and a lightbox, and scan the drawings into ToonBoom. Can't you animate using a drawing tablet straight into Toon Boom? Seems with the technologies of today that it would be cost effective and MUCH faster than drawing on paper. I mean even F...

I think just the fact that lostmarble set up a "spam" forum topic to try and catch these guys shows hope- I haven't seen other forums do that- they just wait till the spam comes and then take a day or two to delete them. Most other forums catch the spam before it ever shows up in the foru...

How do you like the HVX200 footage? We rented one for some pickups and element shoots for one of the movies we are doing and I was amazed what we could capture with it. We were all thinking, "How great it would be if we could run out and shoot a cheap film with this while we have it." One...

I personally have never encountered the term "really enhanced definition" in my years in the industry, nor heard it mentioned when submitting tapes to our post house. "really" wasn't part of the "enhanced definition" naming in my statement, it was just my english. Do a...

Not that it's really important, but the HD format is wide and 1280x720, my personal format of choice, and 1440x1080, are just as "true" HD as the 1920 format. In fact, they have some advantages in many cases. 1280x720 is 720p which is really enhanced definition, not true high definition. ...

4 years for that? Ouch. Love the graphic novel style and the limited animation. I wonder why it took so long especially considering the limited animation style it has.

I know everyone wants an easy solution like particles or filters or whatever, but you do have the old fashion way where you would animate one casing shooting out of the gun, then duplicate that layer and offset the timing of the animation. I know its more tedious, but filters and particles don't sol...

I'm curious why anyone would bother putting together a 3D character to use in AS when there are a ton of much more powerful 3D programs out there? I can see using some 3D objects in a 2D animated scene to add some dimension but a 3D character will be much harder to use in AS than other programs.

I'm sorry Fahim, you are a nice guy, but that doesn't count as an independent opinion. I'd rather see someone not on the payroll of e-frontier confirming this. It wouldn't serve them any purpose to lie to the users about its functionality in Vista now would it? I understand that "average"...
