Oh come on ... you're counting "crap"?? That's barely a half-swear!

Don't worry about the mini-flamewar. It was so atypical that it barely made a dent in the nature of the forum at large. As for the second resolution, yes, that's my goal too. I've been thinking about trying to get a good, full-length animation done for one of my songs, and then trying to get it into...

Bezier handles to manipulate keyframe curves on the graph view of the timeline. This probably tops my request list at the moment. ... and is the only subject which has ever been the catalyst for anything resembling a flame war on this forum! (Actually how much it had to do with the bezier ha...

The forum itself

What happened to the moho image at the top of the forum?

Also, has anyone ever noticed that the link back to the index says "Lost Marble Forum Forum Index"? It's been that way forever, hasn't it ... ?

There needs to be an "all the way into the bucket" keyframe exactly one frame prior to your "back in the hand again" keyframe. This way the motion returning back will not be visible. Alternatively you could make the seeds invisible for a few frames using layer visibility or layer...

Indeed. Hover your mouse over the word "studio" in my original post. :)

If all layers are pulled into the bones layer, then they can all move together with the main bones. To do this well requires a bit of planning, though. For example, you could totally animate the face and have that be a group layer containing the head, eyes, mouth; then you could pull that group laye...

I was going to mention the discrepancy between you being a mac weenie and having Win XP in your screenshot, but by that time I'd already typed too much garbage. :)

Moho is basically a very simple program that allows for very sophisticated output. This is key. This should be etched in marble somewhere (along with "think outside the fish"). Or at least included in a FAQ. There are a small number of types of layers ... vectors, images, bones, 3D, parti...

A lot of the older third-party tutorials might be obsolete by now.

Your question mentions nothing about the switch file. I assume you successfully created a switch file and imported it? If so, what is the first line on the file? Have you looked at the file itself, in a text editor? Does it show as starting on something other than frame 1?

Agreed. Homestar Runner isn't just a website, it's a phenomenon.

Lots of Easter Eggs too, if you know where to click. :)

Just be aware moho won't export image warping (among other things) to Flash.

Edit (my god I'm getting bad with this!): oh, I see that you already understand that. Don't mind me.

JohnO: that's what I initially thought because I wasn't reading carefully enough - his character is made of image layers, not vector layers.

Yeah, I should have waited until I fully formulated my answer before submitting a response. When you said "that did it" I was thinking "uhhh, I hope he means the second and third thing I typed", because not much time had elapsed since I'd added them. But hey, you don't learn anyt...
