Here's what I've discovered by hitting buttons: The three columns are for 3 Switch Groups. You can control up to 3 Switch Groups with the tool. Switch Groups will automatically load into the three columns. The rows in the columns are the different layers in the Switch Layers. You can manually select...

Is it this month?! I really should have read the fine print closer. The cool thing is, I think we've all been inspired by the work of others, and after the public winner announcements we get our rights back so we can re-work/continue producing/post/etc our animations. I know I learned a lot from the...

I'm downloading Ubuntu Studio 9.04 right now, its packaged with Blender, Gimp... I've read positive things about OpenSuse, and Debian. Mostly I just want it to install and work. I've read of many linux install failures, or wi-fi not working, sound not working...ugh. I'll (hopefully) be installing it...

Preferred Linux Flavor?
My laptop died. If I can get it running again, I'm considering loading Linux on it. A friend suggested Ubuntu, any other Linux flavors that come recommended?

I have my reasons for wanting to do this; certain style attributes I can easily attain in AS, the stability of AS when using large images, 3D, bones for further tweaking if necessary (I only have Flash 8 ). Staying in vector is the goal so I don't run into a pixel resolution ceiling. The enormous am...

Batch Import Flash Vector Frames
Not to bash AS, but it currently does not offer the most effecient way of doing FBF. So my thought is to create the FBF in Flash and then bring in each frame of the vector work into AS. However, I don't think there is a way to batch output vector from Flash and batch import to AS. I understand all t...

b15fliptop, yeah that totally freaks me out each time. While it potentially could be more efficient to have the software do this automatically, masking is confusing enough without AS taking any liberties on my behalf. I think I'd like it NOT to automatically mask or at least give us the option to to...

Sleigher
I produced an animation for the Fox/Aniboom holiday animation contest. This is a short "trailer" for a longer format storyline that I have in mind. http://www.aniboom.com/competitions/Fox/393315/Sleigher/ I'll take the first stab at deprecation. While I spent most of the production time pa...
