pan/translate a zoomed preview
You can zoom in on a preview of the animation, but how do you translate the preview? I only want to take a closer look at the head of a figure, but when I zoom in the head disappears from the screen. there are no scroll bars and it's not possible to translate the picture with the right mouse.

Re: identifying bones in the timeline
or this script that will select the bones (or points) https://www.mediafire.com/file/yidx32gvffvqori/HS_SelectKeyed.zip/file in a given keyframe. The zip has a readme plus script and icon - those need to go in your custom folder /scripts/tools Cool, this is very helpful, nice! First I thought the c...

identifying bones in the timeline
When animating layers, only the keyframes that belong to the currently selected layer are shown in the timeline. But when animating bones, all keyframes of all bones are shown all the time, or am I missing something? How do you keep track which keyframe in the timeline represents which bone movement...

Weld points from different layers?
I have drawn a sleeve on a different layer than the torso. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AsNedAPvuG2thT8RgW3maqFmCP34?e=9kNVYH Is there a way to weld the two points where the sleeve is "sewed" with the corresponding two points of the torso? Or must the shapes be on the same layer to do this? If the ...

Re: Release layer and points breaks flexi binding
But why does it break flexi binding but not point binding? After release layer & points you can bind points again with the bind points tool, but you cannot apply flexi binding again (without reset bone rigging). This makes no sense. You can, but it's easier with one command. If you want to do i...

Re: Any chance of a UI overhaul?
I'd also like to add that I've always found the Styles panel a bit counterintuitive. It never works quite how I imagine it to. In particular those tick boxes on the right-hand side of Fill and Stroke. For a newbie, it's just not obvious what the purpose of them is....It just never communicates easi...

Re: Any chance of a UI overhaul?
... 5. Customization. Years ago I already suggested that the intervall of vertical lines in the timeline (indicating seconds) should be more flexible. The real seconds must stay, of course, but I like to see my 24 frames raster, and maybe be able to indicate every 8th frame, and wouldn't it be grea...

Re: Release layer and points breaks flexi binding
Just to be clear, Release Layer & Points is not the same as resetting the layer to its default binding state. What it actually does is it removes binding from the layer so that the layer is not longer affected by bones. Thus, it ignores any attempt to bind it. To reset the binding for selected ...

Release layer and points breaks flexi binding
After Bone - Release layer and points , it is not possible any more to apply flexi binding with the bone - use selected bones for flexi binding command. You can only apply point binding, flexi binding is broken. You must select the layer and choose "reset all bone rigging". I think this ha...

Re: When to use which binding
As a beginner I'm still struggling to find my way through the various options of bone binding. Although this thread is quite old, I'd like to add two links that I found yesterday: Rigging Types tutorial video by Mr. Animation (set the playback speed to 0,25... ) https://youtu.be/bc2jk-1NMAA a...

Open Moho 13 projects with Moho 12.5?
I would agree with a paid update, quite glad to get rid of smith micro. I'm not using Big Sur but Windows 10 - is it nevertheless recommended to go back to Moho 12.5? I'm not sure if I experience a lot of bugs in Moho 13, most problems seem to be user related in my case... And is it possible ...

Re: transparent Background
I ran into the same problem as there is no 32 bit Moho 13 with legacy Quicktime. As MagicYUV doesn't work with Resolume or the windows movies and TV app on my computer (have to find out why...), I just export to full frames (uncompressed), which results in huge files, and convert with Resolume Alley...

Re: drawing facial hair: stubbles, very short beard
thank you for providing the brushes! But I cannot use them yet. I put them in the brushes folder of my custom content library, but the don't show up in Moho. Moho 12: in the _Brushes_ folder of custom content; Moho 13: in the _Vector Brushes_ folder. Then restart Moho. hth ah, now it works! Vector ...

Re: drawing facial hair: stubbles, very short beard
I tried the spots effect for the beard and I think I will use it. the 45° angle looks a bit weird, but 90° looks even worse...
Not sure if I will use it for the hair.

Re: drawing facial hair: stubbles, very short beard
try this (from 2012 - AS8!!!) https://www.mediafire.com/file/je3ygkyhjx6fj1f/hair.zip/file couple of brushes (.pngs) and a .anme (which will open in Moho 12) the original explanation link is, I fear, dead - but just in case the site comes back: http://www.kelleytown.com/forum/animators/topic.asp?TO...
