Fisherman with head turn and moving mouth
Haven't done all the mouth movements, but for the rest he's ready to animate. Head turn through Blend Morphs. Thanks to all the tips on this website to make this work, specially the tips of Selgin have been very helpful. Don't mind the animation, it's more to show what he is able to move. Yes, he wi...

Thanks for the answer, I was afraid so. The problem is that I have a head turn using Blend Morphs, so the teeth move uncontrollable from 0˚ to 90˚ and can go out of the mouth. But I guess if I put the ankerpoints of the teeth at the same location as the ankerpoints on the top of the mouth, I should ...

Interpolate sub-layers with folders in Switch folder.
I have a switch layer for the mouth and in the switch layer tab I have selected Interpolate sub-layers. My question is if the transition to the next mouth only goes smoothly when there is only one vector layer for fx the 'O' and one vector layer for the 'E'? and doesn't work with multiple vector lay...

Thanks for the nice comments! I agree with the shadow comment and I like the suggestion of only a shadow straight under the characters. The feet are not bending for a reason. I had it before set up to bend, but I didn't see the need to make to foot bend like in real life. It walks and only animators...

'Saturday Afternoon'
22 March: UPDATE with final clip (link below). Hello all, I'm playing around with ASP for the last three or four years on and off, going back and forth between animating with real drawings and AS. Making small test with both techniques and although I do like the charm of real drawings the best, AS m...

Thanks for the trouble, guys! Of course I took the method of sbtamu, which is just as simple as it can be. I imagine this is a new AS 7 or 8 feature. I had a look at this pane before I posted the question here, but of course it isn't visible if you don't set the origin. This is just what I needed. B...

The way hayasidist describes the masking method, is exactly the same as the tutorial (6.5). The thing is that it works for the tutorial with only one bone and one vector layer, but not for something with more layers, like with my own character. I even tried a character in a fresh document from the C...

Do you have to move the patch layer?
When I have a patch layer above two layers, the patch layer stays on the same position on the screen when I animate the parts it patches. It doesn't follow the part it should hide. Is this correct behaviour and should I move that layer as well, or do I have to do something else?

Thanks for the reply and suggestion, but I think you are missing the point. I can get the colour code already by clicking an existing colour with the select shape tool, open the colour window and copy the code. But those are unnecessary extra steps. It just beats me why there isn't a eyedropper tool...

Is the Eyedropper tool a copyright protected invention of Adobe, that SM can't add this to AS? It feels really silly to have to copy the colour number, when you just as easy could have clicked on any colour outside the window. There must be a good reason they haven't implemented this feature by now...
